Wellbeing

Student wellbeing is highly valued at Bethel, as we recognise that when students experience great wellbeing, their learning outcomes improve. Through our dedicated Student Development Program, student-centred engagement frameworks, pastoral care, community engagement opportunities, and investment in student leadership, we aim to support the whole child - spiritually, emotionally, socially, and academically.

The staff at Bethel Christian School value building a sense of belonging and strong rapport with each student and are responsive to the various challenges they face, providing care, guidance, and encouragement within a supportive Christian environment. Our dedicated Wellbeing Team, including a Deputy of student Engagement, Chaplain and Social Worker, work closely with students and families to navigate the challenges they may encounter throughout the school year. Our Christ-centred education continually points our students toward Jesus as their creator, who ultimately gives them a sense of belonging, identity, and purpose in the world.
