‘Growing Up Into Christ’
Ephesians 4:15 Speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is Christ.
Application: School is about educating and training. We endeavour to train our students in a way that applies Biblical truths to all situations they face in life. Every opportunity that arises, whether positive,or negative is an experience to learn and grow in the ways of Christ. We are also living in a world with decreasing morals and values. It is through training children to live in a way consistent with the Bible that these important values can be restored in their lives. Bethel values excellence in Education and all students are encouraged to reach their God given potential.
Our educational philosophy is based upon God being sovereign in our lives. In a fallen world, we accept Him as the ultimate source of life, knowledge, wisdom, beauty and truth.
Our school upholds the Bible as the Word of God.
We seek to teach and apply its principles in all our education program, activities and relationships.
The Bethel School Board is made up of a dedicated group of people from the Albany Baptist Church, the wider community and the School.
The Bethel Christian School Board’s vision is that the school would provide for every student a balanced educational program within a caring Christian environment. The school seeks to help all students achieve their full potential, develop their gifts and to provide opportunities to participate in all school activities.
The school strives to facilitate a program of objectives that encompasses the spiritual, physical, social and academic education for the optimum development of each individual.
Throughout their learning experience, students will be encouraged to:
